  • Apply when the weather is mild
  • Don’t apply to a frozen or damp vehicle.
  • Don’t apply to wet or dirty surfaces.

  • If applying in the winter, use a hairdryer to warm and dry the area before applying the sticky pads.

This way is also very easy; however, it does require some drilling into the plates themselves. With the use of a small 3mm drill bit, carefully drill holes in the same place as those on your vehicle then use the self-tap screws and the caps to screw through the plastic bumper to close the clip, and you’re done!

Make sure the bumper is clean and dry when fitting your new number plates, particularly when using sticky pads.

Using 4-6 sticky pads with an even spacing around the back of the number plate, remove the protective backing from the pads. Ensure that you position the number plate at the centre of the bumper, then apply the pressure across the plate.
